I must say I was a little disappointed with Monarchy since their ‘Around The Sun’ was not exactly what I expected it to be… I still love the style and specially their remixes, but this… This is something else! A wonderful bonus track taken from a limited Deluxe edition (500 copies only). This track worth the whole fucking album! I’m dying for the ending vocals, just EPIC!

I must confess, I am deeply in love with these guys. I guess I have some kind of fascination about minimal-postmodern-mysterious-sophisticated-electro-duos, say it Golden Filter (probably, this tumbler favorite crush). This remix is spreading as a ferocious virus all over the blogsphere and many bloggers are already tagging it as remix of the year…wow! Monarchy real identity remains in the the dark and all the clues we have until now are nothing but mere suppositions. Lady Gaga - Dance In The Dark (Monarchy Remix)
The real identity of the duo Monarchy remains a mystery. But the rumor about Stuart Price be one of them stills. This spacey-disco remix is almost a re-interpretation of Lady Gaga’s rebel song as all the deep meaning lines in the lyrics are gone and what remains is something manipulated and superficial. Things that in my opinion could be vastly explored in a remix but maybe they just want to keep it ‘in the dark’ right? And don’t get me wrong, the remix is amazing! Funky bass-line, numbing atmosphere and magically melodic.
